Training Courses for Railway Heritage Groups

This are courses developed to suit Heritage and Tourist Rail Operations. Covers a number of units from track repairs and maintenance to WH&S courses. These are delivered via either blended training or E-Learning.

Secure Cargo

This E-Learning course involves the skills and knowledge required to secure cargo in accordance with procedures and regulatory requirements as part of work activities within the transport and logistics industry. It includes preparing to secure cargo/containers, lashing and unlashing cargo, protecting cargo from weather, and packing and unpacking cargo.

Development of Railway Accreditation for Heritage Railway

This is an E-Learning course over 6 months to cover what is required in a Safety Management System, understanding risk management, document management, training requirements and operational requirements. The aim of this course is to provide the learner the skill sets to develop and manage a Safety Management System that suits their operations. The course would suit members of the Management Team and key positions within a Rail Heritage Group. Learners will require high level of computer skills and access to the internet.

Conduct erosion and sediment control activities

This E-Learning course is designed for workers where any activities can cause risk of soil erosion and sediment pollution. The course is targeted for workers of Forestry, National Parks and Wildlife Service, NSW Rural Fire Service, Road and Maritime Service Projects and Local Council as well as all contractors..
